The Wilderness of James premiere

Isabelle Fuhrman attented The Wilderness of James world premiere at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival on March 9th (last Sunday). Director/screenwriter Michael Johnson and members of the cast were there. There were additional screenings on:

The Wilderness of James is a film directed by Michael Johnson and produced by Jonathan Schwartz and Andrea Sperling that was shot in Portland, Oregon, in 2012, starring Kodi Smit-McPhee and Virginia Madsen, apart from Isabelle Fuhrman.

Sypnosis: James (Kodi Smit-McPhee) is lost.  He’s crawled into his shell as he struggles to deal with the absence of his father.  James lives in a world of his own making: a world that is defined by his bizarre fascination with death.  As tensions mount with his mother (Virginia Madsen) at home, James begins to explore the wilderness of an intoxicating city. Through an infatuating girl called Val (Isabelle Fuhrman) and a charismatic stranger (Evan Ross), James starts to open his eyes as he’s forced to deal with some hard truths.
