New updates about the next Isabelle's movie!  We have a little more informations about the release of All The Wilderness. We said previously that Screen Media Films has acquired all North American distribution rights. So, according to official pages (x, x) the release date will be: February 20th, 2015.

At Teen Summit (UCLA)

On 23rd November, Isabelle and Madeline Fuhrman attended at the Teen Summit Panel at UCLA. Madeline also performed songs at UCLA. There aren’t much informations about that but we have a few potos (click on the picture to go to the gallery). If you went there and you remember/recorded their panel, please contact us.

One Night

As you may know, Isabelle has filmed a movie called “One Night” in the last weeks. Other cast members include Anna Camp, Kyle Allen and Kelly Berglund.

The independent feature film is about Bea (Isabelle), a worrisome teenager, who reconnects with her introverted childhood friend, Andy (Kyle Allen). The two overcome their differences in social status one night after their high school prom. Thirty-something Elizabeth (Anna Camp) must decide whether to salvage her relationship with Drew after much personal disappointment. Past and present collide as two couples explore love over the course of one night at a hotel.

Im selbstständigen Film geht es um Bea (Isabelle), ein besorgniserregender Teenager, die sich mit ihren Kindheitsfreund Andy (Kyle Allen) wiedervereint. Die Beiden müssen ihre Unterschiede in der Gesellschaft nach den Abschlussball in einer Nacht überwinden. Die mehr-oder-wenige-Dreißigjährige Elizabeth (Anna Camp) muss entscheiden, ob sie ihre Beziehung mit Drew nach vielen Enttäuschungen noch retten will. Vergangenheit und Gegenwart treffen aufeinander als zwei Pärchen ihre Liebe in einer Nacht in einem Hotel erkunden.

Date and new name of "The Wilderness of James"

Screen Media Films has acquired all North American distribution rights to writer-director Michael Johnson's debut feature "All The Wilderness." Formerly titled "The Wilderness of James," the coming-of-age story received positive reviews at its 2014 South by Southwest premiere and features Kodi Smit-McPhee opposite Virginia Madsen, Danny DeVito, Evan Ross and Isabelle Fuhrman.

Smit-McPhee stars as James, an isolated young boy who falls into a world of dark imagination following the disappearance of his father. After visits with his psychiatrist (DeVito) prove unsuccessful, James rebels against his single mother (Madsen) and takes to the streets. He ultimately befriends a mysterious kid (Ross) who helps him navigate the eccentric city and wrestle with the reality of his own personal wilderness.

"This is a terrific indie film with very compelling performances," said Seth Needle of Screen Media. "It showcases a strong filmmaking debut from Michael Johnson, who will be on everyone’s radar for years to come."

"I am incredibly excited to have Screen Media releasing this film," added producer Jonathan Schwartz. "We share a great enthusiasm for this magical movie and are excited for audiences to see it. We know if people see it, they will love it."

Cat Winters had a chat about who she’d like to cast as actors and actresses when ‘The Cure For Dreaming’ makes it on to the big screens. Fingers crossed a big shot director makes this happen soon! She said:

Because I wrote ‘The Cure for Dreaming’ without picturing any particular movie actors playing my characters, it’s a somewhat strange and surreal concept to assign real faces to the imaginary people in my mind. However, as a lifelong film buff who plastered the walls of her own teen bedroom in vintage movie posters, I love envisioning future film adaptations of my books. Here are the performers I would cast in the lead roles of The Cure for Dreaming, my 1900-set tale of hypnotism, suffragists, and Gothic horror.

Isabelle Fuhrman as Olivia Mead

Fuhrman has the right looks and the acting chops to play my raven-haired seventeen-year-old suffragist whose life dramatically changes when she’s hypnotized into seeing the world the way it truly is. The Hunger Games showed Fuhrman’s tough side (she played the tribute Clove), and toughness is absolutely necessary for a Victorian girl who’s being pushed into oppressive situations. Plus Fuhrman’s early performance in the horror film Orphan shows she’s capable of handling the creepier aspects of my story.

Yesterday (02/10) Isabelle reunited with her friend Leven Rambin in Beverly Hills, Calif, at Michael Kors. Both were photographed by Claiborne Swanson Frank to join her "Young Hollywood" book, so they attended to the launch. Some HQ photos have been added to the gallery. Dear Eleanor!

As you may know, Isabelle had been recording a film called "Dear Eleanor", along with Jessica Alba, Liana Liberato, Luke Wilson and Joel Courtney. Isabelle's father will make a cameo as well. "Dear Eleanor" is a film about two teenage girls who leave the Central Valley in California (in 1962) and take a cross-country road trip to meet Eleanor Roosevelt, their childhood hero. It's being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, Appian Way, and directed by Entourage star Kevin Connolly. The film is expected to spend $2.5 million in Colorado and has been approved for a $500,000 rebate. The EDC also approved a loan guarantee of up to $300,000. It's scheduled to start shooting on April 8. 'Dear Eleanor' will be probably filming in Longmont, Lyons, Niwot and Hygiene, according to several sources. "Dear Eleanor" has an official twitter.

The point is that they had to make additional shoot days yesterday, so new photos of the behind the scenes were uploaded by the cast.

A new outtake from a 2012 photoshoot was found. Isabelle was photographed by Nicolas Moore for "The last Magazine" wearing Prabal Gurung. The magazine also included an interview made by Liza Darwin, which is below if you want to read it.

The Wilderness of James premiere

Isabelle Fuhrman attented The Wilderness of James world premiere at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival on March 9th (last Sunday). Director/screenwriter Michael Johnson and members of the cast were there. There were additional screenings on:

The Wilderness of James is a film directed by Michael Johnson and produced by Jonathan Schwartz and Andrea Sperling that was shot in Portland, Oregon, in 2012, starring Kodi Smit-McPhee and Virginia Madsen, apart from Isabelle Fuhrman.

Sypnosis: James (Kodi Smit-McPhee) is lost.  He’s crawled into his shell as he struggles to deal with the absence of his father.  James lives in a world of his own making: a world that is defined by his bizarre fascination with death.  As tensions mount with his mother (Virginia Madsen) at home, James begins to explore the wilderness of an intoxicating city. Through an infatuating girl called Val (Isabelle Fuhrman) and a charismatic stranger (Evan Ross), James starts to open his eyes as he’s forced to deal with some hard truths.

The Cell

Isabelle Fuhrman will play the lead role of Alice Maxwell in The Cell. The film is an adaptation of the Stephen King thriller novel "The Cell" about an apocalyptic event, during which an electrical signal transmitted through cell phones turned everyone on the phone at the time into zombies. Tod Williams is directing a script by King and Adam Alleca, the latter of whom scripted Last House On The Left.

Alice Macwell is a teenage girl befriended by Samuel L. Jackson’s and John Cusack’s characters (all human) as they traverse the post-apocalyptic landscape in search of their missing family members.

It is currently filming and they released a photo of Isabelle on set, you can see the original here.

Es handelt sich um eine Verfilmung von Stephen Kings Horror-Roman “The Cell” (auf deutsch “Der Puls”) und ist über ein apokalyptisches Ereignis, wobei ein elektrisches Signal über die Handys übertragen wird, welches die Menschen die gerade am Hörer sind in Zombies verwandelt. Tod Williams führt Regie und das Drehbuch wurde von King und Adam Alleca geschrieben, der letztens Last House On The Left ebenfalls das Drehbuch schrieb.

Alice Maxwell ist eine Teenagerin, die mit Samuel L. Jackson’s und John Cusack’s Charaktern befreunden ist (alle Menschen), welche alle die apokalyptische Landschaft durchqueren um ihre vermissten Familienmitglieder zu suchen.
